“She who said YES”

After two issues in partnership with La Bible en ses Traditions (Le roman de la Bible and Jésus-Christ, cet inconnu), Le Figaro Hors-série devotes a richly illustrated issue to the Mother of God: Mary, she who said yes.
We were happy to respond to the request of our friends at the Le Figaro Hors Série: is Mary, the holy Mother of God, not a model for all biblical scholars? She is the one who intelligently questions, without questioning the divine Word, from the Annunciation; she is the one who “keeps these things and meditates on them in her heart” throughout the Gospel… Keeping, questioning, deepening enquiry to try to understand, never ceasing to believe, what a model for us!

No less than six contributors to the Bible in its traditions contribute, from archaeology to theology, via of course biblical studies and Jewish studies…
