Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon; look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Come from Libanus, my bride, come from Libanus: thou shalt come and pass from the top of Faith, from the top of Sanir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Advance from Lebanon, my spouse, advance from Lebanon, advance. You shall be crowned at the head of Amana, near the summit of Senir and Hermon, by the dens of lions, by the mountains of leopards.

Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my bride; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one bead of thy necklace.

You have wounded my heart, my sister, my spouse. You have wounded my heart with one look of your eyes, and with one lock of hair on your neck.

10  How fair is thy love, my sister, my bride! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all manner of spices!

10  How beautiful are thy breasts, my sister, my spouse! how much more beautiful are thy breasts than wine, and the smell of thy garments than all spices!

10  How beautiful are your breasts, my sister, my spouse! Your breasts are more beautiful than wine, and the fragrance of your ointments is above all aromatic oils.

11  Thy lips, O my bride, drop honey--honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

11  Your lips, my spouse, are a dripping honeycomb; honey and milk are under your tongue. And the fragrance of your garments is like the odor of frankincense.

11  Your lips drop as the honeycomb; honey and milk are under your tongue; and the fragrance of your garments is like the perfume of Lebanon.

12  A garden shut up is my sister, my bride; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

12  My sister, my spouse is a garden enclosed; a garden enclosed, a fountain sealed.

12  A garden enclosed is my sister, my bride; yea, a garden guarded, a fountain sealed.

13  Thy shoots are a park of pomegranates, with precious fruits; henna with spikenard plants,

13  You send forth a paradise of pomegranates along with the fruits of the orchard: Cypress grapes, with aromatic oil;

13  Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; henna-flower with spikenard.

14  Spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices.

14  aromatic oil and saffron; sweet cane and cinnamon, with all the trees of Lebanon; myrrh and aloe, with all the best ointments.

15  Thou art a fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and flowing streams from Lebanon.

15  a fountain of a garden, and a well of water springing and gurgling from Libanus.

15  The fountain of the gardens is a well of living waters, which flow forcefully from Lebanon.

16  Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his precious fruits.

16  Awake, O north wind; and come, O south; and blow through my garden, and let my spices flow out.

16  Rise up, north wind, and advance, south wind. Send a breeze through my garden, and carry its aromatic scents.

5:1  I am come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

Let my kinsman come down into his garden, and eat the fruit of his choice berries. I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spices; I have eaten my bread with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends, and drink; yea, brethren, drink abundantly.

May my beloved enter into his garden, and eat the fruit of his apple trees.
