God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Our God is our refuge and strength, a helper in the tribulations that have greatly overwhelmed us.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas;

Ps45:2  Because of this, we will not be afraid when the earth will be turbulent and the mountains will be transferred into the heart of the sea.

Thou hast been with us always; therefore will we not fear when the earth quakes and mountains are shaken into the heart of the sea,

Though the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. Selah

Their waters have roared and been troubled, the mountains have been troubled by his might. Pause.

Ps45:3  They thundered, and the waters were stirred up among them; the mountains have been disturbed by his strength.

There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holiest dwelling-place of the Most High.

The flowings of the river gladden the city of God: the Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.

Ps45:4  The frenzy of the river rejoices the city of God. The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, at the approach of morning.

Ps45:5  God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.

Nations were in tumult, kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

Ps45:6  The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our helper. Pause.

Come, behold the works of YHWH, who hath made desolations in the earth.

Come, and behold the works of the Lord, what wonders he has achieved on the earth.

Ps45:8  Draw near and behold the works of the Lord: what portents he has set upon the earth,

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.

Putting an end to wars as far as the ends of the earth; he will crush the bow, and break in pieces the weapon, and burn the bucklers with fire.

Ps45:9  carrying away wars even to the end of the earth. He will crush the bow and break the weapons, and he will burn the shield with fire.

10  'Let be, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'

10  Repent, and know that I am God; I am exalted among the heathen and I am exalted in the earth.
