12 Then He also said to him who invited Him, "When you give a dinner or a supper, do not call your friends, nor your brothers, nor your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.
12 And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.
13 But whenever you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
13 But when thou makest a feast, bid the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind
13 But when you prepare a feast, call the poor, the disabled, the lame, and the blind.
14 and you will be blessed, because they do not have [anything] to repay you; for it will be repaid to you in the resurrection of the just."
14 and thou shalt be blessed; because they have not [wherewith] to recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed in the resurrection of the just.
