33 Therefore thus saith YHWH concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast a mound against it.
33 For this reason, thus says the Lord about the king of the Assyrians: He will not enter this city, nor shoot an arrow into it, nor overtake it with a shield, nor dig a rampart all around it.
34 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith YHWH.
34 But by the way by which he came, by it shall he return, and shall not enter into this city: thus saith the Lord.
34 He will return on the road by which he arrived. And into this city, he will not enter, says the Lord.
35 For I will defend this city to save it, for Mine own sake, and for My servant David's sake.'
35 I will protect this city to save it for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
35 And I will protect this city, so that I may save it for my own sake, and for the sake of David, my servant.”
