1 Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
2 You know that when you were pagans, how you were led, being carried away to these speechless idols.
2 Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led.
2 That once you were pagans, and without exception you were carried away by dumb idols.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says "Jesus be cursed,"and no one can say that Jesus [is] Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
3 Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.
3 Because of this, I would have you know that no one speaking in the Spirit of God utters a curse against Jesus. And no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are varieties of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit.
4 Truly, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are varieties of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are varieties of activities, but the same God works all in all.
6 And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.
7 But to each [one] the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the profit [of all.]
7 However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man as help to him.
8 For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
8 Certainly, to one, through the Spirit, is given words of wisdom; but to another, according to the same Spirit, words of knowledge;
9 and to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
9 to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;
10 to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another [different] kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.
10 to another, miraculous works; to another, prophecy; to another, the discernment of spirits; to another, different kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of words.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.
11 but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.
