Join us for a Continuing seminar during the Catholic Biblical Association of America’s summer session in Santa Clara between the 7th and 9th of August : « The Bible in Its Traditions »: studies and exercises in Hosea, Psalms, Luke and James 2016
Conveners : O.-Th. Venard o.p. and Kevin Stephens o.p., École Biblique de Jérusalem
Present at the CBA every other year since 2006, the online research programme « The Bible in Its Traditions » (bibletraditions.org) is a unique workspace which allows researchers from all over the world to collaborate in translating biblical texts according to their diverse traditional versions, and in annotating them using a format designed to cover not only the usual exegetical questions, but also the various questions that arise from the history of reception. Our meetings will consist of both hermeneutical discussions and pratical exercises in the workspaces, guided by contributors and some leaders of the project.
Please bring your laptops.
