Last year, our Research Project was saddened by two big losses.
Fr. Jerome Murphy O’Connor,o.p. who supported The Bible in Its Traditions from the outset, and features prominently in our little movie presenting the project to our scholarly colleagues, passed away peacefully in Jerusalem, on November, the 11th, 2013, and was buried in the cemetary of Saint Stephen’s Priory, according to his will.
Fr. Gabriel Napole, o.p., who had been establishing and leading the wonderful Spanish-speaking team working on Joshuah deceased prematuraly, on December, the 26th, 2013, after a massive stroke, to the painful dismay of everybody. His long working stay in Jerusalem, two years ago, had been a very fruitful time for exchanges and prospects… We are very thankful to profs. Costanza Levaggi and Santiago Rostom Maderna to take over the team and continue the work so well started by Gabriel.

May both our Brothers rest in peace, and intercede in Heaven for all our collaborators and for the welfare of our project!
